Meet the Dentists
Dr. Gulati, D.D.S. is a graduate of Northwestern Dental School, Chicago, one of the best dental schools in the country. Dr. Gulati graduated with top honors and was consistently in the Dean's list throughout her dental schooling.
Dr Gulati's main goal is to achieve and maintain the highest level of technical skills to provide for our patients and stay of top of the latest advances in cosmetic dentistry.
Downers Dental team consists of highly qualified hand picked professionals. Dr. Gulati feels that continuing education and expert training is the key to a successful dental practice. Dr. Gulati has taken extensive continuing education courses and is exceptionally well versed with Invisalign, Implants, Veneers and full mouth reconstruction to name a few.
Dr. Gulati's practice has thrived mainly through the word of mouth. She believes that an excited patient is the best and the truest form of advertisement. Dr Gulati's results and reputation have gained the recognition of patients in her town and the surroundings.
Dr. Gulati is a member of American Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society and Illinois State Dental Society.
Dr. Gulati enjoys painting, reading, and interior decorating during her spare time.
Ray Sanai, D.D.S., M.S. a Board Certified Periodontist and Diplomate of the American Academy of Periodontology, graduated Dental School from the University of Michigan Dental School in May of 1991. Dr. Sanai continued his dental education by completing a one year internship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the prestigious Northwestern University Dental School. Dr. Sanai also has a Master of Science Degree in Oral Sciences and a Certificate in Periodontics from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry.
Dr. Sanai has been teaching on the Faculty of Oral Medicine and Diagnostic Sciences at the University of Illinois in Chicago since 1998. He has research interests in Periodontics and oral cancer.

Steven C. Oltean, D.D.S., a native of the western suburbs of Chicago, attended Loyola University Chicago where he received his Bachelor of Science in Psychology. He then continued on to Case Western Reserve University School of Dentistry in Cleveland, Ohio to receive the Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree. Dr. Oltean attended Loyola University where he received his 5 year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training.
Dr. Oltean is a recognized provider of CPR, Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Trauma Life Support. He has received extensive anesthesia training and provides extended comfort to his patients. Dr. Oltean treats patients of all ages. His areas of interest and expertise are: dental implants, oral medicine and dental extractions including wisdom teeth (third molars). He and his family reside in the area.
